Bonfire Night

Planning for this years Bonfire Night celebrations are now underway. This is an annual event organised as a joint event between Eccleshall Scouts and Bishop Lonsdale Primary School PTA. The event will take place on October 31st.

Eccleshall Show

Eccleshall Scouts provided bacon baps for the early starters and then hot dogs and burgers later on. After costs the scouts made a profit of £885. Gail Softly, Group Secretary, offers her sincere thanks to all those who made this such a sucessful fundraising event. Take a look at these links for a couple of photos from the day:

Eccleshall Scouts bring a little glamour to the show

Parking

In order to improve safety and alleviate continual congestion problems the Executive Committee has agreed that car parking restrictions for Friday night scouts should now include the Beaver parents. Cars should be parked in the adjacent tennis club car park when dropping off and picking up the children.

Project HQ

Plans to extend the Scout Head Quarters in Eccleshall are now advancing. Preparation of plans are now in their final stages and quotations for the work are being sort. Much fundraising will be needed to ensure the project is successful. Watch this space.
