About Us
We take an active part in the life of the Group and join in many of their camps and events.
Achievement focussed, you will work towards achieving the Queens Scout Award - Develop your personal programme and interests.
We emphasise fun, reward and challenge while learning to understand your Scout Promise.
We operate on traditional Scout principles with patrol groups for each of the main awards (Diamond and Platinum).
We expect everyone to wear uniform to most activities and begin and end our meetings with flag ceremonies.
We run the Young Leader Scheme - Have fun working with other sections.

We have links with Madla Speidergruppe in Norway to add an international dimension to our activities.
Many of our activities take place over weekend - You can expect to spend several nights away each year.
1st Eccleshall Explorer Scout Unit is a partnership between Stone District Scout Council and 1st Eccleshall Scout Group.
