Welcome to the 1st Eccleshall Cub Pack. Cub Scouts are Boys and Girls aged 8 to 10. They meet in a Cub Pack and have lots of fun.
At Cubs you can try lots of fun activities like camping, going on trips and making things. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform. Follow this link to see the badges you can collect as a Cub.
Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.

Cubs Go Shopping
First Eccleshall Cubs had a behind the scenes tour of their local Coop on30 January 2012. Check out the picture.
During the visit the Store Manager (John James) and the Coop Member Relations Officer (John Boyle) provided the entertainment which included the tour and talks on how the food gets to the shelves, where it comes from and about fairtrade, as well as healthy eating and how no food is wasted. The cubs then had to go round the store with £5 each and buy a healthy meal for 2 which they would be cooking in the following week! This visit was to assist the cubs with their Chef badge and their fitness challenge which they are all hoping to complete over the next few terms.
The cubs, leaders and explorer scouts (who are training to be young leaders) really enjoyed themselves and our thanks go to eccleshall coop for allowing the cubs to take over their store for an hour!!!"
